Western Pomerania-Greifswald - Storms: lightning strikes and a fallen tree

Similarly, a lightning strike occurred in a field near Karlsburg. As a result, part of a field where winter rye was cultivated caught fire. The fire was quickly extinguished by the fire department and the farmer. Approximately 15 hectares burned down, causing damage of approximately 17,000 Euro.

The Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania experienced heavy rain and strong winds, prompting warnings about potential lightning strikes. Fortunately, no such incidents were reported in the area. However, the following day, a farm in the County experienced a lightning strike, causing a fire in a field of winter rye. The fire department was promptly called, and they successfully extinguished the blaze, preventing further damage or fires from spreading.
