Storm passes over Baden-Württemberg: no major damage
A low-pressure system probably did not cause any major damage in Baden-Württemberg on Monday night. Initially, no storm damage was reported, according to a survey of the state's police in the morning.
However, the German Weather Service (DWD) still warned of gusts of wind on Monday. In the southwest between Lörrach and Karlsruhe, gusts of wind were also expected in places. However, it would not be as stormy as at the weekend, said a DWD meteorologist. Tuesday and Wednesday should be calmer.
Despite the warning from the German Weather Service, the intense storm that was expected in the southwest between Lörrach and Karlsuch did not materialize, only bringing moderate winds. Fortunately, the previously passed storm over Baden-Württemberg also did not result in significant weather-related damage beyond what was initially reported.
