Ferry timetables - Storm depression: changes in traffic to North Frisian islands
A storm forecast for the coming days is causing a major disruption to ferry schedules to the North Frisian Islands. The Wyker Dampfschiffs-Reederei will completely cancel its services from Langeneß, Hooge and Schlüttsiel on Thursday (December 21) due to the storm, the shipping company announced on its website on Tuesday. According to the information provided, there will be a number of additional connections on Wednesday.
On December 20, additional ferries will sail from Langeneß to Hooge and Schlüttsiel at 7.15 am and 3.15 pm. From Hooge there will be an additional ferry to Schlüttsiel at 7.45 am and 4.00 pm and to Langeneß at 11.15 am and 7.15 pm. From Schlüttsiel there are additional ferry connections to Hooge and Langeneß at 10.00 am and 6.00 pm. Depending on the weather conditions, cancellations are to be expected until December 23.
