In Berlin-Neukölln, a pro-Palestinian protest turned violent as protesters pelted police with stones and bottles. The demonstration also saw people shouting slogans and setting off fireworks. Officials limited the protest's freedom.
More than 850 people had come together for the pro-Palestinian display, which lasted from Tuesday evening. The police broke up the event at Hermannplatz at night on the same day. Around 200 individuals remained, they claimed.
A protester set off fireworks, leading to the arrest of the individual on a temporary basis on Wednesday, according to police. A bottle was hurled at the law enforcement officers, hitting one of them on the helmet with a flagpole. The alleged assailant was quickly detained. Additionally, the law enforcement officers were pelted with bottles.
Later, around 200 individuals were reported to have assaulted the police with stones and bottles on Sonnenallee near Reuterstraße. Two police officers were injured in this incident. The police arrested several people and had to put out several fires at a power box and trash cans.
The police launched 19 criminal investigations for assault on and resistance against enforcement officers, particularly serious breach of the peace, dangerous bodily harm, damage to property, insult, and the use of symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations.

The police had to intervene and make several arrests due to assaults and damage to property.
