Still no evidence of crime in Arian case - identification continues

The police continue to "have a high probability that the deceased child is Arian from Elm," the investigators stressed. However, definitive identification through medical examinations is still pending. No statements will be made regarding the cause of death out of respect for the child and his family.

Arian had gone missing from his family's house in the Elm district of Bremervörde on April 22. An extensive search was initiated both on the ground and in the air for the autistic boy. Hundreds of response forces scoured the field and forest areas around Elm. At the end of April, a special investigation team from the police took over.

A farmer discovered a child's body accidentally during farming activities on a meadow near Behrste in the Stade district, about three kilometers from Elm. The police announced shortly after the discovery that it was likely Arian and that there were no indications of external involvement. The further investigations have been ongoing since then.

The public prosecutor's office has opened a case related to Arian's disappearance and the possible discovery of his body. The cause of death is yet to be determined by forensic examinations. The police are working closely with the medical examiner for proper identification, considering the sensitivity of the situation. The next steps in the investigation will depend on the results of these processes. The notes from the case file indicate that Arian's family has been informed about the recent developments. Despite the ongoing investigation, no official confirmation of Arian's identity or the cause of his death has been made by the police.
