Police - Steffi Loth elected as new GdP state chairwoman
The German Police Union (GdP) has elected Steffi Loth as the new state chairwoman in Rhineland-Palatinate. At a meeting in Ingelheim (Mainz-Bingen district) on Tuesday, the state advisory council unanimously elected the former deputy state chairwoman to head the union, the GdP announced. Following her election, the 47-year-old called for improvements to the attractiveness of the police profession and a special fund for internal security. The GdP is the largest organization representing the interests of police employees in Rhineland-Palatinate.
