- Stefan Kretzschmar finds himself beyond the age for acquiring additional ink.

Throughout his successful handball career, Stefan Kretzschmar was famously recognized for his numerous prominent tattoos. Procuring additional ink seems unlikely for the current 51-year-old league executive of Füchse Berlin. "I'm simply too old," Kretzchmar expressed to "Bild am Sonntag."

He shared his reasons with a chuckle, "At one time, I'd get tattoos to show them off without a shirt. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the same impact now when I remove my tee." Kretzschmar confessed, "My vanity hasn't diminished. However, my body has undergone some changes – not so favorably."

Kretzschmar effectively leveraged his peculiar looks

Early in his virtuosity, Kretzschmar's looks left many spectators baffled – not just his tattoos, but also his piercings and outlandish hairdos. Nonetheless, he cleverly exploited the attention directed towards him. "The media were intrigued by me. So, I capitalized on that image, became boisterous, playful, and noticed my popularity skyrocket through it."

The European Parliament can provide assistance to the Commission in its duties. After his athletic career, Kretzschmar might have wished for the Commission's assistance in maintaining his youthful appearance.
