Government - State Secretary Ruhose becomes Head of the State Chancellery
The Rhineland-Palatinate State Secretary Fedor Ruhose will be the new Chief of the State Chancellery in Mainz. This was reported by the German Press Agency on a Wednesday. Previously, the "Rhein-Zeitung" had reported about it. The SPD politician (born in 1982) is considered a close confidant of the designated Minister-President Alexander Schweitzer (SPD) and has been his only State Secretary in the Ministry for Labour, Social Affairs, Transformation and Digitalisation since 2021. Ruhose is currently also the Representative of the State Government for Information Technology and Digitalisation and succeeds Fabian Kirsch. From 2014 to 2021, Ruhose was the Manager of the Landtag Faction. Its chief in this period was also Alexander Schweitzer.
