State parliament session with minute's silence for Hamas victims
This Wednesday (10.00 a.m.), the Saxon State Parliament will commemorate the victims of the Hamas attack on Israel with a minute's silence at the start of the plenary session. The first current debate will also deal with the conflict in the Middle East under the motto "Solidarity with Israel - protecting Jewish life in Saxony". The debate has been announced by the CDU. The topic of artificial intelligence is also on the agenda, with a specialist government statement by State Chancellery head Oliver Schenk planned. In a second topical debate, the AfD wants to discuss whether the basic right to asylum is still up to date.
The Saxon State Parliament will honor the Hamas attack victims with a minute's silence during their plenary session. Despite the discussions on artificial intelligence and asylum rights, the conflict in the Middle East, with a focus on solidarity with Israel, will be a significant topic in the upcoming session.
