State parliament - State parliament: Daycare centers and police task force
On Thursday (from 10.00 a.m.), the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament will be discussing quality in daycare centers. The coalition factions of the CDU and the Greens are presenting a draft amendment to the Childcare Funding Act and want to debate it.
One of the topics to be discussed in parliament on Thursday is the plan to establish a second police task force. The SPD is calling for it to be fully established by 2027. The black-green state government itself initiated the establishment in the coalition agreement and promised additional positions for the task force when presenting the budget for 2024 on Tuesday.

The CDU, being a part of the coalition in Schleswig-Holstein's State parliament, is also involved in the discussion regarding the improvement of day care centers. The Schleswig-Holstein Police is expected to benefit from this, as the task force they are establishing receives additional funding, as mentioned in the 2024 budget presentation.
