Haggenmüller conveyed his worries to the German Press Agency about the trend of younger voters opting for smaller parties. He insisted that the Greens have to take measures to maintain and motivate young female and male voters who have always been a key focus for the party.

In the recent European elections held on Sunday, the Greens in Baden-Württemberg experienced a substantial decline, garnering just 13.8% of the votes, as per an initial estimation by the polling agency Infratest Dimap.
