Consumers - State Office for Consumer Protection warns of cosmetic product

The Lower Saxony State Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety warns via the portal lebensmittelwarnung.de against the cosmetic product "Face & Body Scrub" from the Dutch manufacturer Suma Markt V.O.F. Affected are 350-gram jars with a best-before date until March 23, 2024, as announced on Tuesday evening.

According to the portal, the product is assessed as "not safe for human health". The reason for this is a microorganism species called Burkholderia cepacia and an increased number of germs detected in samples. The state of Lower Saxony is affected by the warning for the face and body scrub.
