Finances - State Court of Auditors presents report on state finances 2022
The Hessian State Court of Audit will present its report on the state's budget and economic management in 2022 this Friday in Wiesbaden. Hesse's top auditors regularly criticize those responsible in the state and local authorities for a lack of cost control. They usually use their annual reports - also known as "observations" - in their public admonitions.
On Friday, they will focus on undesirable developments, omissions or the incorrect weighting of money from the state budget. Last year, for example, the Court of Audit called on the state to push ahead with digitalization and ensure more effective supervision in the ministries.
