Sailing and folk festival - Starting signal for Warnemünde Week

At Saturday (10:00 am) the 86th edition of Warnemünde Week is opened. Until next Sunday there are regattas with sailing top performances and in addition an extensive framework program. For sailors, it goes on Saturday with the Bathing Regatta. The traditional opening event of the framework program is the colorful procession "Niege Umzug" through Warnemünde with its around 2500 participants, which are designed by many volunteers and associations.

On this Saturday at 10:00 am, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania hosts the 86th edition of Warnemünde Week. Throughout the weekend, regattas showcase sailing's top performances, accompanied by an extensive cultural festival. Sailors participate in the Bathing Regatta on Saturday. The lively "Niege Umzug" procession takes place, marking the opening of the framework program with its 2500 colorfully dressed participants from numerous volunteers and associations in Warnemünde.
