Entrepreneur and founder Verena Pausder will head the German Start-up Association in future. As Chairwoman of the Board and together with nine other founders and investors, Pausder will work to strengthen start-up companies, the association announced on Tuesday. We need a new beginning that is based on a culture of courage, said the manager according to the press release. "Germany must learn again to make the impossible possible," argued the 44-year-old. "It is currently groaning at all levels, we need new momentum." Despite an excellent research landscape and a strong SME sector, Germany is lagging behind.
