Start of training at Erzgebirge Aue with six new additions

Just in time for the start of training in Aue, head coach Dotchev welcomed another new signing. Head of sport Heidrich sees a lot of potential in the new additions.

3rd league - Start of training at Erzgebirge Aue with six new additions

With a long speech on the grass and with the recently signed newcomer Jonah Fabisch, Chief Coach Pavel Dotchev started the first training session for the new third league season. Currently, the new signings Mika Clausen (FC St. Pauli), Pascal Fallmann (Rapid Wien), Maxim Burghardt (Eintracht Trier), Can Özkan (Arminia Bielefeld), and Ricky Bornschein (SpVgg. Greuther Fürth) were already on board. "We want to add boys with potential. Regarding experience, we are already well-positioned," said Sport Director Matthias Heidrich. With the mixture of young and old, Aue wants to aim for the way back to the second league.

On this Thursday, an individual lactate test follows, before the first two test matches take place in Münchenbernsdorf (Saturday, 2:00 PM) and at Oelsnitzer FC (Sunday, 2:00 PM) over the weekend.

During the training session, Coach Dotchev discussed tactics on the soccer lawn with the new addition, Jonah Fabisch. The 3rd league season is set to begin with FC Erzgebirge Aue boasting new signings like Fabisch from Saxony. After his speech, the training for the new season officially started with a focus on nurturing young talent and utilizing their potential, as acknowledged by Sport Director Heidrich. The team aims to leverage this blend of experience and youth to make a push towards the 2nd league.
