Soccer-Second League team SpVgg Greuther Fürth won the first test game of the season preparation. The team of trainer Alexander Zorniger defeated TSV Neudrossenfeld from the Bayernliga Nord at Wednesday with 6:1 (3:1). At the sports facility of SSV Kasendorf in the upper Franconian district of Kulmbach, Branimir Hrgota, Lukas Näpflein, Noel Futkeu, Luca Itter, Denis Pfaffenrot and Damian Michalski scored the goals for the Fürth team, which changed ten times during the break.
"Just like last year, we have seen a certain joy in playing again in the first game. The unnecessary goal was an experiment. But overall, I found the boys good," said Zorniger. "I want the boys to get a feeling for the position they are expected to have. That's why we let the players play on positions foreign to them at halftime."
