Police - Spectator shows Hitler salute at soccer match in Neuruppin
According to the police, a 20-year-old spectator at an amateur soccer match in Neuruppin (Ostprignitz-Ruppin district) allegedly gave the Hitler salute and made racist remarks. After the Neuruppin team scored a goal on Saturday, the man allegedly made racist insults at the scorer and then gave the Hitler salute, police said on Sunday.
The young man was then asked to leave the pitch. He did not comply, so the police were called. The officers determined that he had a breath alcohol level of 0.49 per mille and a rapid drug test showed a positive result for cocaine consumption. Charges were filed for the use of signs of unconstitutional organizations, incitement of the people and violation of the Narcotics Act. The police are now investigating.
