Parties - SPD constituency office in Kiel smeared
Unknown persons graffitied the SPD MEP's constituency office in Kiel on Tuesday night. The "spray attack" was related to the reform of the common European asylum system, as the Social Democrats announced on Tuesday.
"Damage to property cannot and must not be a means of political debate in a democracy. And it certainly does not stop the suffering and deaths at the external borders", said SPD MEP Dalara Burkhardt. Instead of seeking a conversation, the attackers had decided to damage other people's property.
The police confirmed the incident at the SPD office and have opened an investigation into damage to property.
