European Championship Squad - Spain's public training tickets already sold out.

The Spanish Under-21 team is holding a public training session on Monday at 7:00 PM in Donaueschingen, but all the tickets for this event have been sold out. "We can only accommodate 500 spectators, and our club also has a certain quota, but there's nothing left," said Rainer Hall, chairman of SV Aasen, speaking to dpa. The squad, which includes Leipzig Bundesliga player Dani Olmo, has been training since Monday. Their accommodations are next door at the Oeschberghof.

Coach Luis de la Fuente's team will arrive in Stuttgart on Sunday evening. In Group B, they'll face Croatia in Berlin (June 15th), Italy in Gelsenkirchen (June 20th), and Albania in Dusseldorf (June 24th). SV Aasen has had a long-term partnership with the Oeschberghof, where Barcelona and Liverpool have trained previously. In addition, German champion Bayer Leverkusen will be coming at the end of July.

The community of Donaueschingen benefits from this, according to Hall, mainly because it has three well-maintained grass fields available year-round. "What we've seen in recent years has made us very happy, and that also affects youth work," said Aasen's club manager. Hall mentions specific meetings with Liverpool's former coach, Jürgen Klopp.

The Oeschberghof is preparing for a 100-person Spanish delegation. For this luxury hotel with a golf course, this means "six weeks of 100% guaranteed turnover," said Ben Hortig, sports director of the hotel. The 2010 World Cup winner plans to return to Donaueschingen between all the games. If the Spaniards are eliminated early, there are cancellation conditions in place.

The Spaniards are bringing their own chef, and the menu plan for the first two weeks has been shared with their hosts. "Spanish specialties are less common, with more Asian ones like oyster soup and kimchi," said Hortig. The hotel's 380 employees had to make some adjustments at the request of the Spaniards: The dining room was transformed into a game room with billiard tables and table soccer.
