An electric battery storage facility in Höhfröschen (Southern Palatinate region) has been blazing since the late evening. As per the police update around 6:30 a.m., the fire service is still present, battling to put out the flames. The blaze is currently under control.
The inferno started around 9:30 p.m. on a Tuesday. There wasn't any notable threat of toxic fumes. Regularly, the firefighters suggested to the locals to secure their windows and doors, mentioned a police representative.
