Potential for extreme weather conditions - Southern regions braced for more intense downpours, according to meteorological report.

German meteorologists from the Weather Service (DWD) issue warnings about heavy rainfall, particularly in southern Germany. This Sunday evening, extreme rainfall is possible, especially in the Stuttgart region, according to analysts in Offenbach. In addition, the Alps could experience powerful thunderstorms with heavy rain, as well as in Saxony-Anhalt, heading towards Berlin.

During the night, the Black Forest, Swabian Alb, and Alpine foothills up to the Bavarian Forest might face partly intense thunderstorms with periods of heavy rain.

Monday mornings in the Alpine foothlands to the south of the Danube are projected to have showers, followed by more significant thunderstorms starting noon and lasting in the Bavarian Forest. The potential for heavy rain, locally reaching up to 40 liters per square meter per hour, remains a risk.
