Musical tandem creates harmony - Sofi Tukker performs a new track at Germany's Next Topmodel finale.

US duo Sofi Tukker, pals with Heidi Klum, will serenade their latest tune "Spiral" at Germany's Next Top Model grand finale in Cologne. The live telecast on Thursday (8:15 pm, ProSieben) offers the perfect platform for Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern to charm the German crowd.

Hawley-Weld shared her excitement with the German Press Agency in Cologne: "It's awesome. What a fantastic chance to unveil our fresh tune to the German public. We adore Germany!"

Klum, according to the 32-year-old, is a "genuine, delightful, and supportive lady" and friend. "We can't wait to join her and everyone from the show's production, the models, and of course the fellow artists." The pair plans to unleash their aural talents with three songs and "mingle a tad with Heidi on the couch," said Halpern. However, they're keeping their feet off the catwalk as it's not their domain. "We'll cede that to the experts," dodged the 34-year-old.

Heidi Klum's cameo in the music video

Their new track, "Spiral,"dropped Wednesday, features an appearance by Heidi Klum. Hawley-Weld revealed how the collaboration came about: "She shared a dancing video of Jacaré, our song, via Instagram. We were astounded by her dance moves, so we thought, 'We MUST make a video with her!'"

Klum, who's been buddies with the duo for a while, consented to star in the video provided they all play a role. "Shooting with Heidi was a blast. She's legendary, a living legend who's been nurturing good vibes on set. She keeps everyone buzzing," Halpern beamed.

The pair met Klum through their buddy Alessandra Ambrosio. "It just clicked. We share a bond, possibly because we both understand German," said the Frankfurt-born Hawley-Weld, who used to dwell in the German city until she was four.

The album "BREAD," with "Spiral" as the second single, will hit the shelves August 23. Sofi Tukker also has a fall US tour lined up, and they'll assist Norwegian EDM sensation DJ Kygo on his European tour in November, with performances in Cologne and Vienna.
