Parliament - Söder plans to visit Israel next week

Bavaria's Minister President Markus Söder plans to travel to Israel next week. "In order to make a clear commitment to Israel and Jewish life, my first trip to Israel as Minister President will take place next week," said the CSU leader on Tuesday in his first government statement in the new legislative period in the state parliament. He did not give any further details at first. Before taking office as Prime Minister in 2018, Söder had already visited Israel several times.
