Söder kicks Huml out - Beißwenger becomes minister
Swabian Eric Beißwenger is to replace the current incumbent Melanie Huml as Minister for Europe in Markus Söder's cabinet. In addition, the current Digital Minister Judith Gerlach (all CSU) will become Health Minister, as Söder announced at a meeting of the CSU parliamentary group in the Bavarian state parliament on Wednesday, according to participants.
In Markus Söder's new cabinet, Swabian Eric Beißwenger takes over from Melanie Huml as the Minister for Europe. Furthermore, Judith Gerlach, currently serving as the Digital Minister, will transition to the role of Health Minister within this government.
