The Christian Democratic Union (CDU) followed closely in second place with 19.8%, having lost 2.1 points. The Green Party faced a large loss of 6.5 percentage points and finished with 16.2%.

The Alternative for Germany (AfD) made significant gains, securing 10.2% of the votes, an increase of 2.5 points from the previous election. The Left party received 5.8%, a drop of 2 percentage points. Sahra Wagenknecht's Bündnis 90/Die Grünen (BSW) entered the race for the first time and earned 5.6% of the votes. The Free Democratic Party (FDP) made modest improvements with 5.3%.
