Snowfall in the Thuringian Forest: cross-country ski trails prepared
Winter sports fans in the Thuringian Forest can hope for better conditions. The regional association announced on Tuesday morning that ten kilometers of cross-country ski trails in the Thuringian Forest have already been prepared. However, due to heavy snowfall, many trails will not be groomed until Tuesday. In the morning, the regional association reported snow depths of up to 40 centimetres. However, toboggan and ski slopes have not yet been prepared.
Despite the heavy snowfall, hobbies like snowshoeing might not be feasible on most trails until they're groomed. Some individuals might enjoy using this time to indulge in their indoor hobbies considering the unfavorable weather conditions.
