Weather - Snowfall, frost and icy conditions in Berlin and Brandenburg
At the start of the new week, people in Berlin and Brandenburg will have to continue to dress warmly. The German Weather Service (DWD) warns of frosty temperatures between minus three and minus six degrees and occasional icy conditions in the morning.
Monday will be mostly dry with lots of clouds during the day. A few snowflakes will only fall in Prignitz and Havelland. Temperatures will not climb above freezing. A weak to moderate wind will blow.
Clouds will increase during the night on Tuesday. From Prignitz to the Elbe-Elster district, light snowfall is to be expected in the second half. Temperatures will drop to lows of minus three to minus six degrees.
A little snow may also fall elsewhere on Tuesday. An increased risk of slippery conditions due to freezing rain is to be expected from Prignitz to Elbe-Elsterkreis. Temperatures will rise to minus two to plus one degree. A moderately strong wind is blowing.
