Weather - Snow, sleet and rain in Saxony

The weather in Saxony will be changeable in the coming days. Tuesday will begin overcast with snow and sleet moving from west to east, according to the German Weather Service (DWD) on Tuesday. The precipitation will ease from the west as the day progresses and there may be local clearing. The DWD warns of black ice and snow drifts. Maximum temperatures will be between zero and plus four degrees, in the mountains and Upper Lusatia minus one degree.

It will remain overcast on Wednesday night. Rain and sleet will continue, with snow at higher altitudes. There is also a risk of icy conditions. Temperatures will drop to minus four to plus one degree. Wednesday will be very cloudy - again with snow, sleet or rain. Maximum temperatures will be between one and four degrees, in the mountains between minus one and plus one degree.

Thursday night will also be very cloudy with snow, sleet or rain. Slippery conditions are also to be expected. Temperatures will drop to minus two to plus one degree, in the mountains to minus five degrees. On Thursday, the precipitation will decrease and it may clear up during the course of the day. Maximum temperatures will be between one and three degrees, in the mountains between minus two and zero degrees.
