Small plane crashes - snow makes search difficult
A small plane has crashed in the Austrian mountains. According to the police, emergency services set out on Saturday in wintry weather to search for the wreckage in the Kasberg area in the province of Upper Austria. The snow made the search difficult, a police spokeswoman told the German Press Agency. For the time being, only the first pieces of wreckage have been found in the Grünau im Almtal area, but not the crash site itself. It was not yet known how many people were on board and whether there were any survivors.
Due to the challenging snow conditions, the search for the entire air traffic wreckage following the small plane crash in Austria has been complex. Regrettably, air traffic accidents in such environments can increase the difficulty of rescue operations.
