German Weather Service - Slight rise in temperature with clouds and drizzle
At the end of the week, people in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) can expect dense cloud cover and light drizzle. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), snow drizzle is also possible in the Hochsauerland region on Thursday. Temperatures will be between four degrees in the east and six degrees in the west, and around two degrees in the mountains. Temperatures will drop during the night and there is a risk of slippery conditions at high altitudes.
On Friday, the cloud cover will remain dense, precipitation will decrease and temperatures will rise slightly to between six and eight degrees. Fog is possible at night, with lows of between five and two degrees. The experts are also predicting heavy cloud cover on Saturday and Sunday, with some sporadic drizzle. According to the DWD, temperatures are expected to rise to between six and nine degrees on Saturday and up to eleven degrees on Sunday.
