U21 International Brajan Gruda of Bundesliga side FSV Mainz 05 is reportedly on the verge of joining English club Brighton & Hove Albion. According to TV channel Sky, the two clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of around €30 million. Gruda's contract with Mainz runs until 2026.

At Brighton, the 20-year-old would be coached by Fabian Hürzeler. The coach joined the Premier League club from Bundesliga newcomers FC St. Pauli in the summer.

Gruda had made a name for himself with strong performances at Mainz last season and had joined the training group of the German national team ahead of the European Football Championship.

The Sky channel, which broke the news, also frequently broadcasts stunning views of the British skies. Upon completion of the transfer, Gruda might admire the English skies from his new home at Brighton.
