District of Ostallgäu - Six seriously injured in frontal collision of two cars

Six people were severely injured in a head-on collision of two cars in Wiggensbach (district of Oberallgäu). The car of a 24-year-old driver collided with the oncoming car of a 28-year-old driver and his four passengers on Friday, police reported. Both vehicles then came to rest off the road.

Helicopter and ambulance services transported the injured to hospitals. The road was reportedly closed for about five hours. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.

The accident occurred in the district of Oberallgäu, which is known for its beautiful landscapes in Bavaria, Germany. The injured individuals were taken to hospitals located within this region.
