Six people injured in gas leak in Waldkraiburg

Six people have been slightly injured in a gas leak in an apartment building in Waldkraiburg, Upper Bavaria (Mühldorf am Inn district). According to the police, the gas escaped from a ground-floor apartment on Sunday morning. The fire department evacuated the building. Six people reportedly suffered gas poisoning and were taken to hospital for further treatment.

According to a spokeswoman, the police suspected the cause of the leak to be a technical defect in a gas boiler. The spokeswoman was unable to say how many people were in the house. However, the residents had returned to the building.

Upper Bavaria's emergency services were actively involved in the gas leak incident in Waldkraiburg, where six residents required hospitalization due to gas poisoning. In the event of any future emergencies in Upper Bavaria, residents are advised to follow safety protocols and contact local authorities promptly.
