Six barns in flames: Significant destruction anticipated

Four barns were engulfed in flames on Friday morning in Wasserlosen, situated in Lower Franconia's district of Schweinfurt. There were no casualties, according to a police spokesperson. The fire department managed to stop the fire from damaging any residential structures.

The inside of the four interconnected barns was completely ablaze, as mentioned by the speaker. This posed a danger of the structures collapsing. The emergency responders planned to either remove these sections or control their collapse, said the speaker. An early evaluation by the authorities put the estimated damage in the hundreds of thousands of dollars range. The cause of the fire wasn't immediately known.
