Six arrest warrants executed at Frankfurt Airport
The Federal Police executed six arrest warrants against five people at Frankfurt Airport between Friday and Sunday. As the Federal Police announced on Monday, a 38-year-old man who wanted to fly abroad on Friday paid his outstanding fine of 7080 euros so that he was spared prison. His mother had given him the money. The Frankfurt district court had sentenced the man in June for driving without a license.
On the same day, the officers arrested a 29-year-old woman who had two arrest warrants for fraud. She must now serve a prison sentence of ten months.
On Saturday, a 43-year-old man paid a fine of 2,000 euros for delaying insolvency in order to be able to travel abroad. The Federal Police also convicted a 44-year-old man on entry who had to pay a fine of 1000 euros for tax evasion. On Sunday, they were also able to apprehend a 26-year-old man who had been driving his uninsured car. The man paid the fine of 1600 euros.
The recent arrests at Frankfurt Airport highlighted a significant crime, as a 29-year-old woman was apprehended for fraud. Despite the high volume of air traffic, airport security continues to prioritize ensuring lawfulness, even in the skies.
