The father of singers Alexandra (49) and Anita Hofmann (47) died on the first Sunday of Advent at the age of 75 after a long, severe depression. The management of the sisters from Meßkirch in Upper Swabia told the German Press Agency on Monday. Out of respect for the bereaved, they asked that relatives, friends and acquaintances as well as people in their professional environment refrain from making inquiries. Alexandra and Anita performed as the Hofmann siblings until 2012, after which they changed their name to Anita & Alexandra Hofmann. In 2022, both also started solo careers.
