Music - Singer Sasha ill: Not all concerts will be rescheduled

Fans of pop singer Sasha can look forward to catch-up dates for concerts canceled due to illness, but will have to do without some stops on the tour. An alternative date in May has been found for ten of the concerts originally planned for December, as the Semmel Concerts Entertainment agency announced in Cologne on Friday. The performances in Erfurt, Siegen and Würzburg unfortunately had to be canceled without replacement, it said. No adequate replacement had been found.

The German tour entitled "This Is My Time - The Show" was actually due to begin on December 1 in Siegen. However, Sasha had to cancel the concerts. He had fallen ill "in such a way that it will be impossible for me to play the tour", he explained in a statement at the beginning of the week. He was on the verge of pneumonia and his doctor had pulled the ripcord, said the singer, who comes from NRW and now lives in Hamburg.

The tour, which has been reduced to ten concerts, will now take place between May 14 and 26. According to the organizers, the tickets for the concerts that will be rescheduled will remain valid. Tickets for Erfurt, Siegen and Würzburg can be returned where they were purchased.
