Insult and Threat - Since 2022: Prime Minister has filed 93 criminal charges

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's Minister President Manuela Schwesig (SPD) has filed more than 90 criminal charges for severe insults or threats since 2022. This was announced by the State Chancellery. In 2022, there were 70 criminal charges, eight in the previous year, and 15 so far this year. Politicians are repeatedly targeted by hate and harassment.
