Football gets revamped by innovators - Simon Pesch joins Hansa Rostock as a new assistant coach.
Relegated FC Hansa Rostock from the second division has appointed Simon Pesch as a new assistant coach. The team made this announcement on Monday. The 35-year-old will be working alongside head coach Bernd Hollerbach. "We believe that Simon and Bernd will complement one another beautifully, along with Dirk Orlishausen, forming a powerful training team," said professional soccer director Amir Shapourzadeh.
Recently, Pesch held the same position with the Polish first division club Gornik Zabrze. The sports scientist, who has also previously worked for FSV Mainz 05 II and Aachen, will conduct their first training session together with Hollerbach on June 23 to prepare for the upcoming season in the third league.
