At a blaze in a towering residential edifice situated on Kannenstieg, Magdeburg, substantial destruction reigned on a Sunday. Upon the fire department's arrival at the building, dense smoke was pervading the main entrance and cellar windows lining the street, as stated by the fire department. Surrounding residents attempted to penetrate the building in search of kin. Following the fire's extinction, occupants were given clearance to reaccess their dwellings. The estimated damage is approximated to be around 100,000 Euros.
