A fire at a grain silo in Kollmar (County Steinburg) caused damage in the mid-six-figure range. The fire broke out in the early morning hours, as reported by the police. Significant damage was caused to the roof, technical facilities, and the goods stored in the building. No one was injured.

According to police reports, several fire departments were able to quickly bring the fire under control, preventing the building from being completely destroyed. Firefighting operations are still ongoing. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and the criminal police have started investigations.

The firefighting efforts managed to prevent the grain silo in Kollmar from being completely devastated. The incident required the cooperation of several firefighting departments.
