Energy giant Siemens Energy secures a whopping 1.4 billion Euros deal from Saudi Arabia. The agreement involves constructing two substantial gas and steam turbine power plants that promise nearly 4 Gigawatts of energy. These powerhouses are slated to replace heavy fuel oil-operated power plants, reducing CO2 emissions by a staggering 60%. As per Siemens Energy, the contract also encompasses a 25-year maintenance agreement. The key partner and major contractor for this project is China Energy International Group.
