After enjoying some more beautiful bathing weather, the weather in Berlin and Brandenburg is expected to be rather unremarkable this weekend. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the day will be dominated by dense clouds and local rain. While temperatures will remain summery, ranging from 23 to 25 degrees Celsius, showers and thunderstorms will persist throughout the day. Later, the rain is expected to move eastwards towards Poland.

Overnight into Saturday, temperatures will drop to as low as 11 degrees Celsius. Particularly along the Oder and Neiße rivers, rain will continue to fall, moving eastwards as the night progresses. The weekend will also start off cloudy, but the sun is expected to peek through at intervals, with temperatures reaching 24 to 27 degrees Celsius in the east, according to forecasts.

Rain and showers are expected to return, with some thunderstorms predicted for certain regions overnight into Sunday. Temperatures will dip to as low as 14 degrees Celsius. The weather is not expected to change much during the day, with heavy rain and even hail expected in some areas. Temperatures are forecast to rise to 22 to 26 degrees Celsius. By evening, the rain is expected to ease off and the clouds will begin to clear.

The DWD predicts a bright and dry start to the week.

Despite the recent enjoyable bathing weather, the forecast suggests that the weather this weekend in Berlin and Brandenburg will be quite uneventful. Regardless of the expected rain and thunderstorms, the temperatures will remain summery.
