- Short weather changes in Saxony-Anhalt: showers and thunderstorms
Midweek, residents of Saxony-Anhalt should brace for showers and thunderstorms. The German Weather Service (DWD) warns of local severe weather with heavy rain, up to 30 liters per square meter, and isolated gusts up to 80 kilometers per hour.
Today, initially expect plenty of sunshine with temperatures up to 31°C. Later, scattered showers and thunderstorms with potential for severe weather may occur, along with possible hail and heavy rain. Overnight into Thursday, it will clear up again with lows around 13°C.
Towards the end of the week, it will be dry again
On Thursday, expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures up to 26°C, and overnight lows down to 11°C.
Friday remains warm, up to 27°C, but cloudy with possible local showers and gusts - mostly it should stay dry. Overnight into Saturday, the last rain clouds will clear at 12°C, and it will become clear.
On Thursday, while it may be dry during the day with sun and clouds, there's a chance of local thunderstorms in the evening. Towards the weekend, the weather is expected to improve significantly, but on Friday, there might be some local showers and gusts, reminiscent of the thunderstorms.
