East Holstein - Short-term closure of the A1: damage to the hard shoulder
Due to severe damage to the shoulder, the Autobahn 1 (Lübeck-Heiligenhafen) will be temporarily closed on Thursday in a northerly direction between Ratekau and Pansdorf in the district of Ostholstein. The verge work is scheduled to last from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m., as announced by the federal highway company Autobahn GmbH on Wednesday. The damage had occurred in the area of a construction site due to heavy rainfall and waterlogging caused by heavy truck traffic. The detour is signposted as U85 from the Ratekau exit.
