Federal Chancellor - Shaving mishap: Scholz wears plaster

Nearly nine months after his jogging accident, Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) encountered another visible misfortune. On Friday, in Neuss, Scholz visited the International Police Cooperation Center (IPCC) for the Football European Championship and was noticeably seen with a plaster on his chin. There was no disagreement during the EU summit of heads of state and government, it was joked about on the sidelines. Scholz had merely cut himself while shaving, according to the chancellor's delegation.

The same mishap happened to Scholz in September of the previous year. At that time, in New York, he was also seen with a plaster on his face. He had only recently removed an eyepatch after sustaining a facial injury during a jogging accident.
