On Saturday, two cars of an ICE with 185 passengers derailed near Schwäbisch Gmünd, Baden-Württemberg, due to a landslide. No injuries were reported, as confirmed by Deutsche Bahn. The major long-distance route between Stuttgart and Munich was closed temporarily after the incident but recovered on Sunday.
