A blaze at a Kelheim warehouse resulted in substantial financial loss. The warehouse, housing agricultural machinery and woodworking equipment, was badly damaged, as per the local authorities. Fortunately, no individuals were harmed.
A nearby resident spotted smoke and fires close to the barn in the Herrnwahlthann area of Hausen and phoned emergency services. The fire department successfully contained the blaze from spreading to a nearby residential property. Regrettably, the warehouse itself was completely devastated.
The damages are expected to fall within the range of tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of euros. The origin of the fire remains under investigation.
