Fires - Several vehicles on fire in Berlin-Spandau

In Berlin-Spandau, several vehicles have burned down during the night. The Criminal Investigation Department of the State Criminal Police is now investigating the cause of the fire. According to the police, a resident called the fire department after she heard a loud bang and noticed a parked car on Betckestraße on fire. The fire spread to two other vehicles, as reported. Firefighting teams extinguished the fire. One of the cars burned completely, according to the police. No one was injured.

The fire that engulfed several vehicles on Betckestraße was severe enough to completely destroy one of them. The Berlin fire department was swift in responding to the resident's call and managing to put out the blaze. The Local Kommunalaufsichtsamt (LKA) has been notified about the incident for further investigation. Despite the close proximity of the vehicles, the car fire did not spark any wider city-wide vehicle-related crime.
